2005 Celebrity Constellation

Dan and I tried our first Celebrity cruise. I was very pleased with
the Celebrity Cruise Line and the ship was beautiful. Also the
service was excellent.

Saturday: We embarked on the
Celebrity's Constellation about
noon; we were one of the first on
the ship. We toured the ship
because we had to wait until 1:00
pm to go to our outside stateroom.
Our ship left the port late at
night. Our wait staff at dinner
was the best.

Sunday: We arrived at Casa De
Campo, Dominican Republic in the
afternoon. The shore excursion we
took was the horseback riding tour.
It was a lot of fun with a beautiful
trail.

Monday: Was our day at sea, we had
a great day of sleeping in, eating and
watching onboard activities such as
the ice sculpturer.

Tuesday: Was at Bridgetown,
Barbados, we ported there Tuesday
morning. The excursion we took
was a tour of the island, it is a
beautiful island.

Wednesday: Was at St. George's, Greneda, the ship arrived to the island
early morning. We also took a shore excursion tour here. This island had
a lot of damage from the hurrican Ivan, but still a beautiful island. The
roads throughout the whole island including winding mountain roads
were the width of 1 lane. To pass both vehicles had to pull over and pass
using the shoulder. To go around bends on the mountains there was a
quick beep and around we went. We also went to a Spice plantation
where we saw cocoa beans drying in the sun.

Thursday: Was at St. John's, Antigua. For our shore
excursion here we did a off roading by Land Rover. It
was a lot of fun and very interesting.

Friday: Was at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. We have been
here a few times so we did not take an excursion here. We did
shop which is one of the best things to do here. There are 400
jewelry stores with duty free shopping along with the
discounted price on alcohol and other things. If you do not
want to go into town for shopping there is also many buildings
of shops right at the pier.
